About Us
Jain Academy Education Research Centre Promotion Trust (JAERCPT) is a Charitable Trust registered in Mumbai, Maharashtra. In 1996 Part-Time Certificate & Diploma Courses were started in Mumbai University under the Department of Philosophy by establishing a Jain Chair at the University. JAERCPT was established in the year 2000 to take this initiative forward and to promote the Jain Philosophy courses being conducted by the University of Mumbai. Under the able leadership and guidance of Dr. Bipin Doshi till date more than 6000 students have successfully completed various courses on Jain Philosophy from University of Mumbai.
JAERCPT has taken various initiatives and projects for spreading the message of Non-Violence, Non Materialism & Philanthropy like production of Dramas, Workshops, Awareness Campaigns, Archaeological Study Tours, Medical and Education Assistance Programme, etc.
To expand our Activities Internationally, we have established the Jainology Study Foundation (JSF) JSF is a Section 8 Company as per Companies Act 2013 (NGO). The primary focus of JSF would be to spread the message of Tirthanakar Mahavir through E-Learning. The Focus of JSF is to bring Jain Philosophy Courses at your Doorstep through various courses being conducted through On-Line Medium.
OUR OBJECTIVE:
1. To promote Indian Traditions and educational activities with special focus on study and understanding of Jain Traditions in analytic and comparative basis.
2. To promote Popular Indian philosophies
3. To provide and promote academic and cultural interchanges and cooperation among Jains in India and abroad
4. To assist and to promote charitable community services activities in all fields in India
5. To promote tenets of Jain Tradition like Non-Violence, Non Materialism, Philanthropy, etc
6. To carry on all the charitable activities for larger interest of society/nation
Our Trust is CSR Approved and any Donations received by the Trust is exempt U/S 80G of Income Tax Act 1961.

Dr. Bipin Doshi is a General Physician, Jain Scholar and Social Worker. On Professional front, he has been practising as a physician for 45 years. He believes in a holistic approach for treatment of any disease and practices the trinity of modern medicine, lifestyle modification and spiritual therapy. Thousands of patients have received ethical and economical advice with minimum drugs, tests & surgeries.
He is a Scholar & a Teacher of Jain Philosophy and Founder of Jain Chair at the University of Mumbai. He is a resource person for Post Graduate & Ph D Students studying Jainism. He is writer of Books like Gandhi Before Gandhi, a researcher, writer and presenter of Dramas based on Jainism like Guru Gautam, Gandhi before Gandhi, Seth Motisha, Veer Bhamasha, Sheth Jagdusha, Champa Shravika, Raja Kumarpal.
On Social front he is associated many National and International Organisations like JITO (Founder Chief Secretary), Veerayatan (Vice President), Jain Vishwa Bharati Institute, Ladlun (Senate Member), JIF-Jaina India Foundation (Director), Borivali Sanskrutik Kendra and Borivali Medical Brotherhood.

Kavita Shah is a practising Chartered Accountant. She is Partner with R R Modi & Associates and Director at Vaibhav EquiSec Pvt Ltd.
She specialises in GST, Bank Audits, Tax Audits and Compliances for Charitable Trusts and NGOs.
She has been an Institutional Dealer and Research Analyst in the equity market.
She is currently Treasurer of JITO Mumbai Goregaon Chapter and Trustee at Ashwini Kumar Medical Relief Society.
She is associated with various Trusts like Pranic Healing Foundation North Mumbai, JIF-Jaina India Foundation.
Dr. Ranna Doshi

Dr. Ranna Doshi is Senior Gynecologist & Obstetrician, practising since last 40 years, conducting more than 1500 deliveries and surgeries till date. She is currently associated and practising at Doshi Maternity Nursing Home, Borivali West; Namaha Hospital, Kandivali West; and Surya Hospital, Santacruz West.
She is a recipient of the Mayor's Award in 2015 for distinguished Professional & Social Services. She would have assisted more than 10,000 patients in last 20 years in obtaining treatment through charitable means from Charitable Hospitals like Hitvardhak, Vaishnav Seva Samaj, etc. She is a Chairperson of Women Cancer Education & Care Centre, Ex-President of Borivali Medical Brotherhood, Ex-Chairman of JITO Mumbai Goregaon Chapter Ladies Wing & Trustee at Poinsur Gymkhana.
Mr. Tarun Motta

Tarun Motta is a B.E. (Civil) from VJTI College and practising as an Architect with MCGM. On the Professional front he is one of the leading licensed Architect and Surveyor of Mumbai. He is a member of the Indian Council Arbitrations know as “ICA”
On the Social front, he is President of Oswal Jain Mahajan Sangh, Borivali. He is Executive Committee member at Goregaon Sports Club, Borivali Sanskriti Kendra, Jain Jagruti, Kandivli, Kutchi Yuvak sangh at Borivali.
Mrs. Sangeetha Chhajed

Sangeetha Chhajed is a Chartered Accountant and a CFA. She is a Vice President in a leading multinational company. She has completed Certificate and Diploma Courses in Jain Philosophy from Mumbai University and has been associated with Dr. Bipin Doshi in taking this cause further. She has been also working in the areas of Environmental Protection and Tree Plantation. She recently presented on Jainism and Environment at M S University, Baroda.
